God Knows EVERYTHING About You

All too often I believe I can hide things. I believe that by pretending, no one will know what is really going on.

1O Lord, you have searched me and known me! 2You know when I sit down and when I rise up; you discern my thoughts from afar…4Even before a word is on my tongue, behold, O Lord, you know it altogether.” – Psalm 139:1-2 & 4 (ESV)

I can pretend all I want, but God knows. He knows when I am happy, sad, joyful, angry, loving, hateful, active, and sedentary. He knows my thoughts before they are thoughts, and words before they are words.

As God knows all, why do I still try to pretend or hide things? Because I am human and a sinner.

God always knows what is going on in my body, life, mind, and heart. Even when I don’t know, God knows. He gives direction for me to follow and my only appropriate response should be to go. There is no hiding from God. I can run from Him, but He knows where I am going even when I do not.

God knows everything about me and accepting that will give peace. He is there watching over me and celebrates the winnings and mourns the losings with me. Acceptance is my only option and a pretty good one at that.

Are you hiding or running from God? Your pretending is having what effect on your overall walk with Christ? Have you thought about the fact that God knows EVERYTHING about you?
