“11And this is the testimony, that God gave us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.” – 1 John 5:11-12 (ESV)
When we have accepted the Son of God, we have eternal life, and you probably recognize the verse below:
“16For God so loved the world, that he gave is only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” – John 3:16 (ESV)
We have the opportunity to have eternal life and the cost to us is minimal: accept Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior. When we have accepted Him, we have eternal life.
