Imagine you are watching a magic show and the magician pulls off a trick that you are completely marveled at. You try your best to wrap your head around how, and even search online for the “answer” to your inquisitive nature.
“4But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, 5even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ – by grace you have been saved – 6and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.” – Ephesians 2:4-7 (ESV)
There is no way to determine the love and grace that God gives. The commentary of my ESV bible says, “It will take all of eternity to fathom God’s love, and those who are saved will never plumb the depths of it.” How true is that?
We have to accept with thanksgiving the love that God shows and will show us. We are not deserving of God’s grace and love, but he gives it anyway, and our best response to that gift should be a hearty “Thank You”
Have you tried to reason the love and grace God shows? What have you figured out? Going forward will you simply say “thank you” and know the love as God shows?
Love this!
